Samoa is estimated to be a 3 year old mixed breed. She was passed off as a "Saint Bernard puppy", but she is actually full grown at about 40 lbs. She might be a Great Pyr/Aussie mix or something similar, but is much higher energy than a Saint. Samoa was feral upon her arrival into rescue, and then contracted Distemper at the shelter, so she has had a rough go of life. She has now learned that indoors is ok, and she is housebroken. Samoa likes other dogs, and is fine with cats and livestock also. She needs a very quiet home, with someone who is patient and will be willing to work with her to overcome her fear of leashes, cars, and many "normal" things in life. She is being fostered in the Houston area.
